Today, it’s the Western Run, starting at the Kitwanga General Store about noon, then on to Gitanyow and Gitwangak. This trip normally takes place every other Saturday. This is a one-time schedule change.

This is a reminder that the Book Bus run originally scheduled for Saturday, April 14 will take place instead on Sunday, April 15, starting at noon at Kitwanga General Store. Gitanyow and Gitwangak will follow. 🙂

We’re back on the road! It’s Gitsegukla and South Hazelton today, starting at the health station in Gitsegukla about 2 pm.
On the Road Again
The Book Bus is ready to roll again! Thursday afternoon, I’m going to Gitsegukla and South Hazelton. I’ll try to make up some of the missed runs. Stay tuned for updates.
Thanks are due to Joel Letendre for doing the repairs, to Napa in Smithers and to Aardvark Towing in New Hazelton for giving us discounts on parts and towing, respectively. We are also grateful for the monetary donation from the Kitwanga quilters. They didn’t know it but they donated just in time to help offset some of the costs of the repairs. The community support for our program is greatly appreciated.

The Book Bus goes to Gitsegukla and South Hazelton today, starting by the health station in Gitsegukla about 2 pm, then the 10-plex about 2:25.
I expect to be by the old school in South Hazelton by about 3:30.

Today, the Book Bus visits New Hazelton and Tse-kya, starting at Roche View Lodge about 2 pm, Red Apple parking lot by about 2:20, Alderway Loop in Tse-kya after 3, and a stop at Allen Park in New Hazelton at about 3:45.

Today, the Book Bus visits Anspayaxw and Sik-e-dakh, starting by the mailboxes in Anspayaxw about 2:15 pm. I’ll sit there for about twenty minutes and then I’ll slowly drive some of the streets since there’s no school today. I expect to be in Sik-e-dakh about 3:20 pm.
