Western Run: Sunday instead of Saturday?
We are considering switching the Western Run (Kitwanga, Gitanyow, Gitwangak) from every other Saturday to every other Sunday, starting in May.
Last weekend when I went on Sunday instead of Saturday, I had more people than I usually get. The transit bus now has a Saturday trip to Terrace and people often have events on Saturdays so maybe Sunday would be better. What do you think?
New Hazelton – Tse-kya makeup run
I’m going to do the New Hazelton – Tse-kya run today, which was missed last week due to mechanical difficulties. I’ll start at Roche View Lodge about 2 pm.
Update:
I’m in the Red Apple parking lot until shortly after 3 pm. After that I’ll do Alderway Loop in Tse-kya. I’ll finish with a stop at Allen Park in New Hazelton.
More Sunday
I’ll be at the Gitwangak hall parking lot until about 4:05.
Sunday Update
I’ll be at Skeena Trading until about 3:20, then on to Wolf Street and the hall parking lot.
By the way, folks, I’m out of books for preschool kids.
Sunday, April 15, 2018
Today, it’s the Western Run, starting at the Kitwanga General Store about noon, then on to Gitanyow and Gitwangak. This trip normally takes place every other Saturday. This is a one-time schedule change.
April 14 & 15, 2018
This is a reminder that the Book Bus run originally scheduled for Saturday, April 14 will take place instead on Sunday, April 15, starting at noon at Kitwanga General Store. Gitanyow and Gitwangak will follow. 🙂
